Sound Bath
Deep Reset & Nervous System Reset
A grounded, body-based sound experience — no prior practice is needed, just a willingness to rest.
WHAT THIS CLASS IS
You lie down. The sound does the work.
This is a one-hour, guided sound bath experience designed to help your body shift out of stress and into genuine rest. Using crystal singing bowls, Tibetan bowls, gong, chimes, and drum, you'll be bathed in layered sound frequencies that signal safety to your nervous system — helping it move from fight-or-flight into the parasympathetic state where real healing happens.
As the sound plays, you may be guided through a somatic body scan — a gentle, non-judgmental awareness practice where you're invited to notice sensations in your body, breathe into areas of tension, and consciously let go of what you've been carrying. You don't have to fix anything. You don't have to figure anything out. You just notice, and allow.
Woven throughout is a yoga Nidra-informed approach — a style of guided rest that brings you to the threshold between waking and sleep. In this deeply receptive state, the mind becomes quiet enough to set aside old patterns and limiting beliefs, and the body remembers what calm actually feels like. Many people describe it as the most rested they've felt in months.
You leave feeling lighter. Clearer. Like something you didn't know you were holding has finally been set down.

WHY IT WORKS
Your nervous system responds to sound — whether you try or not.
Most of us spend the majority of our days in a low-grade stress response. The body stays braced. The mind keeps scanning for problems. Over time, this becomes the nervous system's default — and rest starts to feel impossible, even when we're exhausted.
Sound frequencies, particularly from crystal and Tibetan singing bowls, have a measurable effect on brainwave states. They help guide the mind toward slower, more restorative frequencies — the same states associated with deep sleep and meditation — without requiring you to "meditate correctly." The body doesn't need you to believe in it. It just responds.
Paired with somatic awareness — a guided body scan that invites you to notice physical sensations without judgment — this class teaches the nervous system that it's safe to soften. Over time, with regular practice, that sense of safety becomes easier to access on your own.
The experience is often described as peaceful, emotional, and powerfully restorative.
WHAT HAPPENDS IN THE ROOM
Here’s what to expect, step by step.
Arrive & settle in
You'll set up your mat, blanket, and any comfort items you brought. The space is warm, softly lit, and quiet. No introductions required — just get comfortable.
Set an intention
We'll open with a brief moment to arrive — a few conscious breaths and a personal intention for your time on the mat. This is yours alone; no sharing required.
Guided breath & body awareness
A short breath practice helps your body begin to downregulate. You'll be guided to notice where you're holding tension, and gently invited to exhale it out.
Immersion in sound
Crystal singing bowls, Tibetan bowls, gong, chimes, and drum weave together into a layered soundscape. You receive it lying down, eyes closed, fully supported.
Somatic body scan & guided rest
A yoga Nidra-inspired body scan guides your awareness slowly through the body — noticing, acknowledging, and releasing sensation. Visualization and gentle reprogramming language may be woven in.
Slow return & integration
The session closes gently. You'll be guided back to waking awareness gradually, with time to lie still before rising. There's no rush.
